Investigator-initiated studies (IIT)

Investigator-initiated studies - for knowledge gain

Freedom of research is firmly anchored in the German Basic Law in accordance with Article 5. This also includes investigator-initiated trials (IITs). Their aim is to gain knowledge, for example to optimize diagnoses or therapies.

With the increasing commercialization in hospital operations, there is often not enough room left to conduct these non-commercial clinical trials until they are published in accordance with the applicable regulations (AMG, MPG, ICH-GCP) and requirements.

Academic medical colleagues are supported by MEDIACC so that they can focus on their core tasks and apply their specialist knowledge to study design and analysis. To ensure that high-quality data can be generated and published alongside clinical activities, our clients benefit from our many years of experience with regulations, applications, processes, project management, pharmacovigilance, biomedical expertise, conducting studies and the successful compilation of publications.

If required, we take over only individual tasks or the complete service. Before starting the services, we calculate the budget on a project basis. These works enable the completion of the delegated tasks and thus increase the reputation of the department to make results known nationally or internationally in a short time.
